Hexahedron
Hexahedron is a Dark Souls-inspired game developed by students at the Academy of Art as part of the Studio class. The game follows a geometric theme for its creatures and enemies, partly due to the team’s limited access to animation students.
I was responsible for the narrative elements of the project, including:
- Scripts
- Codex entries
- Documentation
- Cinematics
The development process, from the first written text to the final product, took two semesters, or 30 weeks. However, much of that time was also spent on other aspects of the game.
During the first semester, I worked on breaking down the storyline into potential plotlines, writing the script, auditioning voice actors, and recording dialogue. In the second semester, I focused on choosing a direction for the intro cinematic, storyboarding, creating art, animating, adding sound, and cleanup.
